The tennis season is about to start again. The days are getting longer at last and the temperature rising.
Membership fees have stayed at the same level for yet another year and are due on the 1st April. Details are available on our website.
The Co-op voucher scheme for children to have free coaching was so successful we are delighted to inform you that we will run it again this year. Details will be on the web site and in the clubhouse from 1st April. All existing members who have paid their membership by 7th May will have a chance to receive a voucher worth the value of £40 for 7-17 year olds and £20 for under 7 year olds who are of school age. We have a limited number of vouchers so it is on a first come first served basis.
After taking professional advice we are going to have all the courts cleaned, treated and repainted sometime in the spring.
The club is sponsoring a number of taster sessions for children in the local primary school to encourage more to play tennis and the LTA is helping to provide ' Tennis for kids' which is a new initiative for total beginners, Berin will run these sessions on a Saturday morning for 6 weeks. All coaching information is on the web site.
